As I recall from the only time I had to drain my coolant, when replacing the engine in my old RS, I had to remove the lower rad hose. It seems to me that there wasn't a drain spout at all...but I have a bad memory.

I think from when I looked at how to do it, it's a Phillips head type screw that you just loosen like a normal screw.. though I won't be changing out my coolant until March/April.. but yeah that seems to me how it is...

Ya philips head screw front bottom left. My book says after that you should still remove the lower rad hose to properly drain the block so hell. Just remove the hose.

yea just got done doing this i would use the drain cock first otherwise its gonna splash everywhere. even using the drain cock its gonna splash pretty good so either take your time or have a bug bucket.
