[GI] CARBON FIBER SUNROOF

Post by colinsmx3 »

Well after the succes of the Carbon Fiber Hatches, I have talked to Oscar about some other parts. I will only say the sunroof for now to keep it on topic but there are a few others we would have in mind.

Now as we know it will be made by Oscar at Pakfeifer and we would need 10 ppl to start this off.
The cost will be determined once we know we have 10 ppl or if Oscar can figure it out b4 then.

The hatch fit perfect with no flaws so I would assume the sunroof will be the exact same so no worries there! Can be seen here. http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=66689" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So lets begin this

Is there much weight to be lost or is this one more of an aesthetic purpose? Can't be much in that panel is there? Though it is right at the top COG and all that... I'm intrigued :)

This sounds like a great idea but lets get all the CF hatches out first before we start another group buy.

I would be interested, depending on the price. I'm thinking about making a smoked Lexan one (of course).

Well thats why this is a GI thread, Oscar wanted to see how much interest and if we can get another 10 ppl in to start it.

There won't be much weight loss although I would presume maybe 5 lbs lost? it's more for looks I would see.

To get interest, you could come up with a price for 10 units, 15, etc...
The more details, the more we have to be interested in.
