Show me your wheels...

Post by wytbishop »

Hey everyone. I am on a mini mission to decide what wheels I will finally put on my MX-3. I'm curious what your favroites are whether they're on your car or not. Post a pick or a link or something. I'm thinking I will go with a 17" wheel. I may go with a smaller offset to add a little width to the stance.

I'm curious about different looks and styles but also what offset you have. Are they just for looks or are they application specific? How do they affect the handling of your car?

Any insight you have into your rim selection process will help me.

Thanks,
Charlie

One day, when I can afford it, I'm either going to get whatever is the ultimate Auto-X rims, or the Miata 5-spoke 16" ones http://www.wheelcollision.com/wccpix/64836a.JPG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I don't know if they make a 17".
If I really get a grip, I'll get both 8)

I like Konig. The Minuz, Feather, and Britelite all look great on this car. I'm also a fan of the Work Emotion CR Kai wheels.

johnmx3ze - you car couldn't be farther from my taste. Thanks for posting though. I can see you've done a lot of work.

Marc - your car makes me wet...it's embarassing. I love your wheels and I'm leaning in that direction.

Ryan - That first pic you posted is pure sex. The lug wheels look great.

Solo - Like the Konigs. I would prefer them without the polished lip...Konig is also an option I am considering.

Romeo - those would be gerat for winter wheels.

Jesse - My point exactly. I"m totally rebuilding my suspension. I don't want the wheels to be the weak link.
