saw this last week.. and emailed the guy... he said that they are for a 92-02 rx-7 he sent me pics of the kit...He said that they do fit...has any one else seen this or tried the rx7 hinges?..i personaly dont think they will work as a bolt up...

Yeh, it's the Escort ZX-2

I'll be afraid that it'll be flimsy.... my brother bought one for his eclipse around that price and it bearly holds on to the car and wobbles a bit. Opening the car was tricky and you seriously have to pick up the weight of the door. If you want good ones there over 5 bills or more.

wow guys ....who cares about the escort in the pic.. i asked if any one has tried the rx7 hinges on an mx3...if they do work that could solve alot of problems for alot of people

RX7 hinges will NOT work.... The A-pillar are to different.... I do know the hinges that are a direct bolt on though since I used them on my car took 50 min to install... but ppl don't seem to listen when I tell them!
They were $900 for the kit and if you go with a shitty ebay kit you get what you pay for.

It wouldnt solve anyone problems since the majority of ppl on this site will only hound you for adding lambo doors to your MX3.

Why Colin, you sound so bitter! I like your car A big bonus for people is parking lots, because our doors are so long, we can pretty much double the width of the car by opening the door.... its hard to get out if the door isn't all the way open. Which Lambo hinges did you use?

Not bitter, I have them and like them cause my car is in shows and it's more points.

Well trust me Lambo doors are not for the daily driver! There a pain in the a-- to use and the passenger will always have to be let out and let in the car!
My g/f can open the door from the inside but I have to close it and open it from the outside since you can do damage it if you close it wrong! The kit I have has a very strong strut and will shoot the door up if you don't keep pressure on it while you open it past the fender!

Only Colin should have these as he has a show car.
