there are many parts to an ac unit, what specific part are you talking about?

i hope you aernt going to try and "fix" it or something. not if you cant even find it..... maybe get someone with a little more experience.

if you are trying to fix it, I'd err on the side of caution on this one. A/C units contain hazardous chemicals, and unless you have an A/C machine, I really wouldn't be playing around in that area.

yeah i just wanted to take it out, get a little more horsepower. cause mine doesn't even work.

im in an auto tech class that has been rated number 1 across the country for a couple years, and i just got through with HVAC. go ahead and ask questions, i may be able to help

between the blower and the heater core housing under the dash, find an mx-3 or protege or 323 that doesnt have ac, pull the connecting plenum out of that car to use when you remove the ac unit from that area under the dash in your car, after that its just parts delete from around the engine bay.

and since your ac doesnt work anyways, it probably safe to say, most of the pressurized refrigerants have leaked out of the time span of it not working.

just be careful when pulling all the hose lines and check valves, dryer, condensor.... its tedious, and try not to cut yourself. lol
