Clean or replace your PCV valve. That's a good place to start for $5.

u can also try cleaning your throttle body as well, and like wytbishop said check your pcv valve and vacuum hoses for leaks.

If you have DRL's unplug them. Its located behind the driver side
strut tower and looks like a magical silver box. Its one plug and
draws insane wattage because the DRL's are actually the brights
on low. Something like 48 watts draw I think it was.

Start there after the PCV valve replacement.

If no DRL's clean up all the light grounds in the trunk area under
the trim for the hatch latch and work your way up front.

For all the ground locations check the online manual.

If it still bogs when your braking try replacing the rear light bulbs
with superbright LED's.

http://www.superbrightleds.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you need three 921's and four 1157's

If I think of anything else you can try I'll post back.

Do the DRL first and see how it works.

I would say unplugging DRL is DUMB advice, but you're in the US of A, so go for it...

My car did this, it was bad IdleAairControl (Valve) and bad motor :P

I betcha if you pop the defog on at the same time, you can stall it.

You could also try to improve your engine grounds.

I would focus on troubleshooting the TPS/IAC though.

Or did you fix this issue?

there was a leak in the vacume line, fixed that. it seemed good for a little bit but now its back..
its not as if power is being lost, like its going to stall out or shut down. . the dimming lights was never severe, it happens in accordance with the r's revving to about 1200 and dropping to about 800, just as a couple other people have posted. this is still only while the brake is depressed as i am decelerating...
i'm planning on having my mechanic take a look at it next time i have it in his shop,
