pretty soon i would be starting a klde swap on a protege. i though i had a engine already but that deal didnt work out. i have almost all the part needed it for it. but right now am looking for a good running klde. am sure somebody has swap one out for a klze and has it laying around. am located in chicago area.

I would check probe talk, Ive got one just rebuilt, but you wouldnt want it for the price I would want + shipping or gas and plus its a project

i posted an ad overthere as well. i had one that i was goign to pick up but the guy now want to sell me the whole car. i just need the motor.

May check locally, like on craigslist and such. You may have to hit the junkyards and find one. I can get you one for $350 if your willing to travel for it.

i have check locally but these engines are going for $600 and more. cheapest i found was $500 an it had 160xxx miles. i dont want to mess with the junkyard motor at all.

well if u change ur mind i know where there are a couple of klde's for sale for about $550.00 i was going to get it but i have since found another one... i also live in the chicago area ...if u dont mind driving a few hours to check it out (do a compression test) u could take it home that day.... the lowest milage i seen on one was 110,XXX

how much and where are you located?

they are too far for me to pickup those engine

ive got a strong running KLDE in my escort id let go.Im located just outside of milwaukee.You can come see the motor run, and i can pull it out and throw it right in the truck if youd like.The motor has 103k on it, doesnt smoke at all.Id like to get $450 for the engine, minus disty and plug wires.

i can sell you mt klze with about 70,000 km on it, not miles for 500
and i can bring it down to you for price of fuel, im in toronto area
