I wasnt blasted

Or... Should I say, It wasn't blasted.
While I was at work today, I got my wife to take my rims to finally get sand blasted. I never have no time, so...
Well... Before she went, I made sure to tell her what they priced them before when I was going to get them done. I told her to tell them the price they told me last time and I told her to watch out for them changing the price, because they might not remember the rims. Also, her being a female, they may try to jack the price up cause she is a girl and don't know nothing about em. So, she went.
She calls me while at work and tells me the rims didnt get blasted because of the up'd the price. Wow... who would have thought?
They have already seen these rims, and gave me a price on them of $15. My wife took them and they was trying to charge her $65 a rim. WTF!
Guess I'm going to have ta use some sort of paint stripper. I've used air craft remover, but it just wasn't enough. It only somewhat gets the paint stripped. I need something that really works, like the gel kind. Only problem is, I don't know where to get it. Anyone have any suggestions or anything???
Btw, I painted one rim before wife took them to be blasted, just to see how it is going to look. want to see the pic of it??

You hope I'm not painting them? ... Hmmm
Yep, I'm painting them. Wait, Stop right there Mr.!
Before you say anything. I must say, I can do a good job. lol
I was going to get them powder coated, But decided not to. Reason for this is, I may end up wanting them a different color and I'm not going to keep paying them time after time to sandblast and powdercoat.

The pics of my rim is for testing to see if I like the color on them only. I did not prime it or anything. Just threw a quick coat on, so don't think this will be it's final state. ty
This is the color I think I'll be going with though. what do you guys think?

You can rent a blaster, and if you have a compressor, or know someone who has one, it's pretty cheap. If you do, test it on something less important, to get the hang of it. It's fun, and you can just leave the sand on the ground.

You can buy a blaster for what they would have charged ($65 a tire).

Just the man I need to be talking to. My bro inlaw went to macco one day to have a chat with em. The man showed him the stripper they use. It was a gel and they put it on a car and every bit t of the paint come off in one swipe. Could I get this at a local automotive paint store?
Also, I was thinkin about putting a automotive clear on it. would that be good?
I never spray'd anything with a gun, so I may need your help.
I have a compressor, so I'm just going to pick up a gun from like lowes or something.

Yeah. I blasted down a 35' School bus. I don't remember how much it cost, but it was cheap. You just have to get used to how to keep moving it at the right pace.
