I believe it shoudn't be a problem. The only thing to be concerened about is if you want to get Escort/Tracer/323/Protege springs...not a problem with an RS, but with the heavier V6 of the GS, it'll require stronger springs.

what mean by the springs? I'd have to buy escort springs instead of my mx3 springs.

Also, is there anyone else that can back that up to just so I sure that it will work

No, for the struts, you should be good. There may be different types of struts for each car and model for different performance, but regardless they should work no problem

If you're by chance at looking for springs, if you have a V6 Mx-3 you CAN'T use Escort/Tracer/323/Protege springs since the front springs are too soft to support the weight of the V6 properly. But if you have an RS, that's not a problem.

I've used Gabriel struts on my 88 323 and 93 RS. They worked fine. Can't beat the price.
