Engine is on its way and just wondering which clutch would be the best choice to go along with the horsepower of the engine. And will a stock mx-3 flywheel hold up to the power also?
Thanks.

Flywheel will need resurfaced but is fine. And you will need a Stage 1 ACT Clutch or Clutchmasters or similar.

The Mx-3 flywheel will no problem. As for the Mx-3clutch, nope, unless you take it really, really easy. Even an OEM Probe/Mx-6/626 clutch doesn't work well in the long run. Also stay away from those eBay special no-name cluthes. There'a farily recent thread on it, but basically, ACT, Clutchmaster, Centerforce, Exedy, Bully and probably a few others are the clutches that will do the job reliably

The flywheel isnt ok to reuse and wont hold up to the power??

You will deffinatly need at least a Stage 1 clutch from any of the companys Nd4SpdSe listed and deffinatly stay away from the eBay clutches.

surely you're talking about clutches Nd4SpdSe? :?

I've never heard of anyone having trouble using their k8 flywheel. Infact many probe/mx6 owners buy our 16lb flywheel as a lightened upgrade to the KL 21lb flywheel. You will need it resurfaced (skimmed flat) as you would/should everytime you clutch change.

My SPEC clutch seems decent so far too. I think I bought from http://www.clutchcityonline.com/, but that was the best for me being in the UK with international shipping.

Ya, sorry, I meant clutches...flywheel no problem at all. It's actually common for Probe/Mx-6 owners to switch to the lighter Mx-3 clutch. My bad, sorry
