So why are there 3 condenser fan relays?
So why are there 3 condenser fan relays?
Can someone explain to me how this works?
Re: So why are there 3 condenser fan relays?
afaik each fan has it's own relay and the 3rd turns them both on.
Re: So why are there 3 condenser fan relays?
I mean there are 3 condenser fan relays on the passenger side cluster and there's 1 relay for the radiator/cooling fan on the driver side. Total of 4 relays. I don't understand what the 3 relays linked to the condenser fan do. I suppose one turns it on, maybe the other one makes it go faster or something... What's the 3rd one for?

Here are the circuit diagrams - it pretty much explains it all .....

Re: So why are there 3 condenser fan relays?
I already looked at them and the ECU diagram, and I don't understand. I'm not an electrical engineer. All I see is 3 relays powering the condenser fan, and I can't figure out how the system is meant to work, and which order do those relays get switched on and under what conditions.
Can anyone explain?
