The oil pan on the B6 is a funny two part unit. It has a lower kinda reservoir and a middle sort of support unit. I was like WTF when I took mine apart.

It seems like you are wrong tho. "More info" should be changed to "enlarge pic" The flanges look different on the pans... I was not sure if it was a 2 peice dealy or just 2 companies making the same thing.

I was trashing the site with the "more info", not you... those bastards, since when is a larger pic more info? It's the same info, just bigger.

now im confused i have a b6 block as proved by the big B6 stamped above the block serial number and is only a one piece oilpan and looks nothing like the pick in the pistpost web addy and the vacume line routing pics in my chiltons are way different have more lines

well there is the B6 SOHC and the B6DOHC. The DOHC had VICS and the SOHC didn't. You might have the SOHC then.

it is a single cam whats a VICS im drawin a blank at the moment
