MX-3 and Miata

Ok so i was reading through the forums and i keep seeing that mx-3's use alot of miata parts i was wondering if the upper sway bars would be able to be used? can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I would say almost definitely no. The Miata being a rear wheel drive car has different spindles and control arms in the front than the MX-3. I know that none of the struts and other stuff are interchangeable. I cannot image the sway bars would be.

thanks i was wondering cuz all the info i was reading basically said the lots of parts were interchangeable

Not really, maybe a few motor parts on the 4cyl Mx-3's, and some common design elements interior and exterior since they were in production of the same time, but that's about it.

The Mx-3 is ~90% based off the 323/Protege Platform. The Miata is it's own which is why it does what it does so well.

good to know cuz i got alot of miata buddies in the drift scene and i would swoop some parts from them

I've seen it posted a few times that we can use miata rotors. Also Miata wheels, but that's all I've seen that we can use.
