Hey guys,
I have a bunch of grease around the passenger side axle and I can't figure where it came from. I checked the boot and nothing seems to be ripped. Here is a picture of the situation. Any one have any idea?

There's nothing else in that area that takes grease other than the CV or possibly the lower ball joint. Did you just have an oil change or something?

x2 cv axle or ball joint.... also i would check the cv axle seal for tranny fluid leaking out.

I'll check the ball joint too, but I don't think thats it as the grease is near the water pump as well. I thought I checked the boot very thoroughly but I'll check again. Is it possible for that much grease to leak through a tiny rip that hardly even detectable?

yup it looks like ball joint grease.

It probably has a pin sized hole.
