....import a japanese mx-3.

I've driven a number of right hand drive vehicles, they really aren't meant for our roads. I'd put up with it for the awesomeness factor of having a real jdm car, but I wouldn't spend thousands changing a lhd over to a rhd :p

Wouldn't you need the RHD chassis?
Dash, steering setup...
Is the engine mounted flop ways too? tranny on passenger side? What would be interchangeable between them mechanically? Suspension and brakes?

This website sells kits for RHD conversions - http://www.postalthings.com/right_hand_drive_kits.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - maybe you can ask them to design one for you.....

Also this one in UK -

Here's a conversion on a RX7

Because the Eunos Presso was not a very popular car in Japan, although uncommon they are relatively cheap to import. I inquired last year about getting a 93' GS from an importer and was told that once found I could have it on the ground for $4000-5000 but it might take months for them to find one.

So many penis jokes, so little time. :lol:

This could be top 10 for forum stupidity. :bowdown: Personally, if I were to spend thousands of dolla dolla bills y'all... I would expect some sort of gain. Noobs and their pipe-dreams. For what you would have to spend, you would be able to put in a new suspension, engine, hookers and blow.. maybe more. You are just better off importing.

http://www.importconcern.ca/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Check with local laws about importing etc. Make sure your ins. company thinks it's as good of an idea as you do.

Tranny and engine is in the same position, incl. exhaust etc. Steering is different, brake cylinder is on the other side, seats, door panels, dashboard, light beams are incorrect, fog light is on the other side, wipers are "mirrored", and also firewall between engine and cabin is "mirrored". And so on.. Waste of time, effort and money. Buy RHD car or keep it LHD and save some money & invite your girlfriend or wife for a wonderful romantic weekend. :wink:

Exactly. Basically what yo would need to do is buy an entire RHD drive Mx-3 and move all the parts over, but if that's the case, you already have the RHD Mx-3, just leave it as be.

Some places you can just the front clip of cars, maybe you could get one from an mx-3, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't much cheaper than an entire car.
