Probe Headers

Before I put buy Probe headers I wanted to know two things. First, to put it on the B6DE does it require any more modifications than matching the plate where it meets the engine to fit the gasket? Second, does anyone know if the Probe headers have a port for the EGR pipe? I could delete the EGR but first I'd have to get a blockoff plate and then disable the EGR in the ECU. Thanks for the help. :D

I got a header already modified for sale! If you block off the EGR you don't have to do anything to the ECU just plug it up! Let me know if you want the header. 100 + shipping

Well I read that if you plug up the EGR valve then when the ECU opens the valve it could damage the engine since it's expecting exhaust that's blocked off, and it runs lean.

Thanks for the offer but I'm buying one off of eBay for about $110 total.

yeah but it's going to cost you more since you have to get it drilled! It's a pain in the a--! I'm telling you from experience man!

I was planning on doing it myself, how hard could it be?

Here's a few pics of the EGR pipe, looks like it lines up with that little tit on the probe headers:

Well what are you using to drill through stainless steel? Hope not a hand drill  I had a machine shop do it for $70 and they still didn't finish it because they broke like 5 drill bits. The EGR is not the problem is the re-drilling the holes that don't match the B6 engine studs

did mine at home, its not hard to drill it, i bent my EGR pipe to fit the new header seams to be ok. I did get the down pipe modigied though as it was hitting the tranny when idling, and had some tight bends to get it to fit. oOt a magnaflow weld in high flow CAT and put the flanges on to to suit the stainless system!

heres mine form the UK site:
