after swaping-no spark

the engine is 1.6 Dohc.i have swaped engines,and now i get no spark,the engine before the swap worked fine,becouse i tested it.but when i swaped the engines,i get no spark :(
when i turn the ignition key,there is spark,but when the engine turn,the distributor gives no spark ? does somebody know's what's the problem?

i just had a similar issue. check your voltages on your distributor clips, if your getting the proper volts then its your distributor. with mine i thought it was the distributor but when i checked the voltages on the 3 pin disty clip neither ground was grounding but i was getting power where i should. changed the clip and voila. maybe one of ur grounds in the clip is loose like mine was. if not then check spark with a screwdriver off the cap itself if there is none then its more than likely your distributor. can you smell fuel? when you turn it over
dohc b6, intake, exhaust, miata cams ready to go in
