can i use the distributer off my klze for my K8 ??
i fried my 1.8L V6 distributer !!!

any help would be great !!

i have a str8 neck ZE pulled from a probe !!!!!!

is that the only way to utilize a klze disty on my K8 ?

the thing is i have a ZE in my garage with the Hei Mod wires... but no ext coil !!!!

i just dont want to spend 300 on a used disty for my K8 !!!!!! which is currently in my mx...

any suggestions ????!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ZE distributor is nothing more than a cap and a rotor so you must use an external coil.

The metal part is exactly the same, except no coil?

I would suggest you sell me the ZE disty then go to Norhtern Performance on Parkdale ave and get another disty from them. Just a suggestion.

The only thing in the metal portion of the ZE disty is the cam angle sensor. No coil and no ignitor.

The stock ZE in it's native chassis uses an external coil and igniter. Usually from what I've seen the coil and igniter are not sold with the ZE engines that are imported. I imagine it is possible to get them and use them, but they would not be easy to find.

The HEI mod is extremely easy and can be done for <$50.

It depends on the wiring harness. If using a 93 MX-3 GS car harness, then I would say yes.

You can use whatever disty came with the car originally.

I have what I believe to be a 93ish ZE and I have my 96 Disty on it.
