The mx-3 has a relatively large engine bay for the size of the car. You can fit many 4 cylinders and some v-6's in it. If you are not an experienced engine swapper it will take a lot of work and heartache and potentially a lot of money. Sorry, don't know what a 3S GTE is.

the 3S GTE is the turbocharged motor in Toyota's JDM Celica. I don't know much about it, but it's a very well respected engine.

Yes i'm the owner of the mazota, its not all fun...the front chassis legs had to be rolled, and the video posted is when it was first on the road.. which was roughly 300bhp...

which has now been broken into high 400bhp mark.

the engine has had extensive mods.

few pics for you guys.

Image
One blown piston, its on its had 21 pistons in the engine since we built, as was getting rid of problem and detenation was all over place.

Image
old engine bay shot.

engines now on different ecu, and MAP sensor, AFM was removed...

the list of modifications is huge.

The video of the r32 golf was we was running in.

recently beaten TVR's,Ferrari 360 Moderna. Maseratti and chased a Lambo but he turned off.

car runs around at 5/7psi normally.

has been boosted at 12psi in the passed and smoked 1st,2nd,3rd gear.

will be going up to 21psi soon. stay tuned

Yeah, those are great engines. Terrific job on the install. I considered dropping my MX-3 once to build a GT-4 out of my 94 Celica, but sold the Celica instead.

they are nice cars... and rare, but the bodies don't seem to last worth sh!t I was going to import a RHD one from japan, after seeing how many skylines are in this damn city. If they have a sun roof, they need body work.
