Hey guys, I've been searching for information on this and can really only find that I need to get axles, mounts, transverse member, and anything else. I'm looking at a 2.5L klze with cams, ecu, harness, headers, ported heads, axles and a tranny with lsd in it. It pretty much is the front clip. I know that everyone say that Its to hard to do and costs to much, but i've got time and it will have to some saving up for but the engine is going no where. If someone did this already and has a list of things the had to swap out and any tips let me know. If this will work out well then I might go with it, But i'm still thinking about saving up and doing a bpt swap. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

you will need to get the V6 wiring harness as well, I would say you would need to upgrade your fuel pump too. I know you need to for a BP swap so a V6 would need even more fuel.

now, I have never done the KLZE swap in an RS so don't take this too seriously, but I don't think it would be too hard. Compared with the GS model it would be hard, but I have already taken out the engine and the tranny in my RS and I don't think it would be too much trouble to put a v6 in. Most people just say go and buy a GS but if the body and interior is good on the RS I say go for it. Just my opinion.

Good, It is in great shape. I've already had the suspension upgraded and did a gs brake swap, this would make it all the better, without the insurance company knowing.

Well, they may keep your premiums down, but when you flip it doing 210 and the look at your registration and look at your mangled engine and realize that that definately isn't a I4... You won't have much insurance.

Why bother really? You basically need everythign in the engine bay including the wiring harness. Plus. you might as well swap to the tighter GS steering rack and swap the the GS rear disk brakes...but with all that, why not just get a GS.

because GS can be hard to find, and because his interior and body are in good shape. Plus he's already done the rear disc swap.

heres some links of some pictures I have of the car that I just took. Its a little dirty in the pictures but you guys can see why I want to keep it and do a swap. I can take some other pics of some little things I did in the interior and my awesomely mint rear seat.

Your car was dirty? I didn't even notice, but it is sexy as hell though. If you do go through with the ze swap, you MUST make a detailed worklog on the swap :D .

It's alot of work, but if that's the case, it would very much of worth it.
