The previous owners of my car said that one day 5th gear just disappeared, it goes into gear but acts like its in neutral, no grinding or anything scary like that. I am thinking maybe the pin for the 5th gear shift fork may have sheared? Any suggestions as to what it is?

Anyone? could anyone tell me what cars I could pull the gears out of, I am planning a u-pull it run pretty soon here.
