Oil pressure sensor
Oil pressure sensor
Hello friends, I need to replace my oil pressure sensor on my 1993's MX-3 K8-DE. The original is something like 0.2 bar spec, but I've also found one with 0.4 bar spec. My question is, which one is better to use, for my car the 0.2 is recommended, what could happen if I put there 0.4 bar? Thank you for your answers. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Oil pressure sensor
ive replaced mine when it started pouring oil out of it. Warning light didn't come on or nothing. I don't think there's difference between either one.

Re: Oil pressure sensor
If its the same as North American mx-3 - then its just a switch that turns on when the pressure is too low - doesnt matter what the max rating is...... (as long as it can withstand normal pressure)....
