http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Escort-E ... enameZWDVW" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Just want to know if anyone has tried this or can identify if its worth buying. I am short on money, lost $216 on my taxes, so there goes my plan to get the napa clutch and flywheel. I just need something for the time being, so anyone used this or got any cheap suggestions

If your not going to boost, then an Exedy clutch is all you need. I've had them on both I4 and V6 Mx's, and it's held fine. There only $120 shipped.

Hey be careful with that napa flywheel i told you about.... They gave me the SDF 917 flywheel i took it home pressed in the bearing and went to put it on and realized it only had six bolt holes LOL I turned in the core when I ordered it and hed my fiance pick it up. They sent the core to Sacremento and it took a week to get it back.... they checked thier computer when I told them it was wrong and they argued with me saying it was the right one and maybe I didnt put it on right ... those bastards...... I had to order the flywheel from Kragen .... The SDF 918 was right. Napa tried to tell me the 918 wouldnt fit but it's installed and works just fine.

That disc doesnt look too bad though ... the one in the pic on your other post. If your short on cash and can't swing 100 dollars for a while then the one you have shoul do fin for now.

Well they dont seem to have that fly wheel and clutch where I live, they only had the fidanza flywheel which they wanted over $500 for and some clutch kit for $250. So I dont know what to do, what did you tell them the motor came from, an escort. protege. sephia etc?

Im sort of angry with napa for the problems i had...... same one's available at Kragen/Checker... its an STD 918, Napa or checker should both be able to get it. The Clutch comes from Perfection Clutch part number MU1121-1, hope this helps....

All napa computers keep coming up with the wrong part for the flywheel but kragen/shuck's/checker, as much as i hate to use them carry the same flywheel manufacturer, "Standard Flywheel" part SDF 918.
