Has anyone used this? http://www.scangauge.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It says that it works for a 96 MX-3, 95 protege, 95 millenia...

Will it work for 95 and older MX-3??

The ScanGauge (either 1 or 2) will not work in a '95 or older MX-3, unless it happens to be OBD2. ScanGauge only works for OBD2 cars.

There is a product that can work in some OBD1 cars called SuperMID, but it is custom made, and no longer in production. I don't know if the MX-3 injector flow/timing pattern will work with the programming of the SuperMID, so it may not even work with our cars at all. Plus, I believe that it needs a digital speed sensor, and ours is mechanical (probably easy enough to convert, but I haven't looked into it).

There is a push to create an open source fuel economy gauge similar to the ScanGauge on http://www.ecomodder.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (here's the link http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1428" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ), and people are trying to make it so it can be calibrated by the user to work on all fuel injected OBD1 cars. It's worth checking out, and when something becomes available, I'll seriously look at buying/building one for my car.
