Power Windows conversion (RS with the GS Components)

Post by Bo0sted_Rafi »

Ive been searching for info about this but just verifying, i got the complete system of a GS Mx3 with power windows. Now i got a RS but i want to use the GS power windows system. I got the windows regulators, switches, and the harness of the door, that harness, i just swap it and its done? or i need the complete harness to the fuse box?

Thanks

The frame of the car is already wired for it. The guts from the door will be enough.

Did you get the power locks while you were at it? Seems like you might as well if you have the wiring harness. You'll probably want to get new actuators though as the passenger one is a pansy and there isn't one for the driver. The locks (or was it the windows... i always mix them up) need a relay box thats under the dash (next to the blinker relay: the boxes are all labeled).

Thanks, yesterday i did the swap of the harness and its works, i need to verify the passeger side but i think i got the problem because i dont connect the switch in that side, only the driver side to make the first test
