Indeed I will.

I'll give you props on those cars, but nothing that hasn't been done before, and then some.
Pocrobs wrote:You will never be streetable and be faster than 12's in the qtr.
Tell Dave Lauzier that, ~480 BPT GS Mx-3 with full toys and interior ran 11.1, and he drove the car to the track, I'd consider that streetable. No matter that platform your car, there's always streetability concerns with that amount of power. I'm sure that Mustang isn't that streetable either, just cause it can run on pump gas doesn't mean a thing. A 600hp 240, I'm sure that's not that easy to drive either, it is a really light car with not much weight over that 600hp coming out of the rear tires.
Pocrobs wrote:Not to mention you can actually enjoy driving a RWD car. FWD was fun when I was a kid, but as an adult I put away childish toys.
FWD has it's place, it all depends. Obviously it's not your cup of tea, and that's fine. I know I want to get a RWD car in the near future myself, but your insulting comment shows your attitude shows that kind of person you are. You're just a small bitter person that for some reason got a FWD car as a project, than all of a sudden hates it. I guess someone called you a ricer (especially with that Combat front bumper) and you got insulted. What's funny is that there was a guy who was on here maybe a year ago and was like FWD is the best, it's better than RWD and all this BS, his name was "RedEgg". And you what, I argued against him, I argued against him, as well as other, so much, that he left. I may drive FWD, but I know in alot of cases, RWD is better, depending on what you do, but don't tell me that FWD sucks completely, cause that's just as ignorant of a comment as saying that FWD is the best.
Pocrobs wrote:If there was a real market for these cars I'd sell it outright, but since we all know (if you don't take off the damn blinders) you'll never get good money for one of these.
Yes, yes your right, however you should of known that when you got into it, a true car enthousiast doesn't care about the resale, it's about enjoying the car and enoying the project. It's rare people will pay what it's worth as a whole, that's where people want a deal, unless it's something rare or just out of this world unique. A car is always worth more in parts, but no, you are right and the mx-3 doesn't have a demand in the market.
Pocrobs wrote:What's realistic out of a BP anyway. Even if I were to put the largest turbo possible on it, not only would it have horrible boost lag, but I'd still be lucky to hit 400 at the flywheel. Ok, so let's up it to a klze. Now lower compression to take a turbo (pointless since you paid more for a higher compression engine). Maybe I'd get to 600HP at the flywheel .
So your're just guessing. 500hp has been done in a BPT many times. Mazda KL, 800hp and 1000hp of those motors have been done. Boost lag, I don't know, why don't you do it and let me know how bad the lag it...wait, you won't and you don't know either, more guessing.
Pocrobs wrote:Now answer this, ever tried to drive a really high power FRONT wheel drive car on a twisty road. You have to be so careful on the throttle that it defeats the whole reason you just gave up your wife, kids and house just to build another car that will be called a ricer.
You drive a high-horsepower RWD car and you're at the same risk. If you know better, you don't drive a FWD like a RWD car, you can't expect to enter and exit a corner, use the throttle and the steering in the same way from one to another, the same applies to AWD in that mix, you treat each car differnent. Even going from front engine, to mid and rear engine differs on how you handle a car RWD. Athough there's no real Mazda following that I'm aware of, FWD Honda's as well known in touge over in Japan, the Integra and Civic specifically and have their place in the US too. And it's not even about the power. You are just as much risk no matter how much power your putting down, as long as you have enough power to run the car to it's limit, all it takes if to overdrive it by that little much to get in an accident. Besides, most touge drivers make between 300 and 400hp, you only really go over that if you're into track drifting or you have a heavy/AWD car.
Honestly, I know why this thread is posted here, it's cause you're new and you can't post in the for sale section, but as well, that's the reason why you've spammed since you've joined, so you can get your post count up. Personally, I was expecting your threads to be closed and your account possibly banned by now.
