I was just looking at the mx-3 main page on recalls, well they recalled the alternator on the 92-95 well my alternator just went out, you think they would fix that or is that too long ago on a recall?

No, it's not too long, but it's a one-time recall, so if it's been done, you can't get it again, but an alternator dying it to be expected on a car after 10+ years.

Also check to see if where you live applies. I think part of the recall was a splash guard, to stop precipitation from being kicked up to the alternator.

oh ok, well my car is a 92, i just got the car like 3 days ago from my dad and i put in a new battery and the car died today and i noticed the battery check light was on and the battery just kept dying, so i was just seeing since i seen that the recall was for the Front Suspension Coil Springs, Alternator, and automatic seatbelts, i mean i can go buy the alternator, but its 139.99 and if the recall replaces the alternator that would be 139.99, well hopefully it hasnt been done to the car yet cause ill take those 3 recalls save me lots of money.
