Hi!
I just had a deck installed. Now everytime I turn the deck on, or turn the car off, there is a loud "clunk" sound through my speakers. Also, when the guy hooked up my remote wire, the bass is fine until I turn it up loud, then it is a constant "BOOOOMMMM" that doesnt stop unless I disconnect the remote wire or turn off the deck.
The old deck wasnt doing any of this! It worked perfect! I'm just wondering what this could possibly be! The "new" deck also worked perfect in the car it came out of.
Any thoughts? I'd appreciate it!
THANKS

He could have hooked some wires up wrong, Check all RCA's and make sure they are correct cuz they will do the boom thing thru ur subs if there wrong.

If you can, take the deck out as much as possible, then turn it on and see if it pops. I've had this on a few decks. I think one of the ground wires, when they shove the deck in, gets pinched, so it doesn't ground good. If all the harness wires are good, and it just happens to your subs, you can get a rca filter($15) that will fix the extended noise.

I vote take it back to where you got it installed. I mean I assume you paid money to have them install it...sounds like they messed something up.

Thats my .02

Check your ground!! If thats not it then make sure to didn't run a screw or something thru your rca somewhere. If that not it, try running a rca from your home stereo or another HV to your amp. If you have the same problem then its your input on your and if not there is a problem with your output on your HV.

alright thanks everyone for the help.
It must have been the actual deck or wire connector, because I took it out and put in my old deck and everything is working fine. But thanks again for the replies!
