Check for intake leaks, especially on the bottom of the hose, check the vaccum hose on top near the throttle body.
Mine car had the same problem so I unplugged the IAC and it would start and run, but run rough when I gave any gas. then I unplugged the tps and it ran better! lol but I also had to swap the tps sensor when I put a Jspec BP in my mx3. now my iac works(rewired and cleaned it lol) but I still have the tps unplugged and have been driving around with no troubles, just slightly lower mileage and worse throttle response. Ive tried everthing i can think of to get the tps to work, including rewiring the original mx3 sensor, but the car still wouldnt run right.
good luck!
