what happens to fuel flow if I max out my injectors?

I am running 190lph FP, stock FPR, 12:1 vortech FMU, and 220cc injectors(DE)

I think that the injectors are running maxed out because of the really high Fuel Pressures from the FMU under 7psi boost.

it goes really lean about 4500 RPM, and I am wondering if my injectors are maxed out then the flow drops off or something??

maybe too much fuel to the 220cc injectors makes them run lean/flow less....

anyone have any ideas?

Looks like ur having nothing but problems man, its only time before your motor goes boom from running to lean or having some crazy detonation issues. If your worried about your 220's then maybe u need millenias. But considering you are on a k8 and running low boost (under 7psi i am guessing) then you should be ok.. If not then get bigger S injectors. If your a/f's are soo outa control all the time (seems it is all you post about) maybe you should get MS and straighten it out..

BTW, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

What engine management are you using? You said you had a WBO2 - are you using it for fuel control or just monitoring? Is your VAF before or after turbo? Have you tried cleaning the vaf temperature element?

I am running a klde VAF, and I probably should change my fuel filter.

the vaf is running after the turbo.

I am using fmu for now... for fuel management. I am going to get MSnS soon though.

maybe i misunderstood but either way..... at idle my AFPR is set to 32 psi i believe.... you dont need more than that.... dude..... you run lean at 7 psi because you got that stock fpr... thats why your hear it whistling ....

I read somewhere that the VAF is generally not good for mounting after the turbo - it has a floating vane in its core that moves with airflow - the turbo pressure may cause it to open erratically causing the ecu to dump fuel one moment and then try to overcorrect it with your (narrowband) O2 reading....
Did you have these problems right when you started boosting? Have you tried resetting the ECU? (The ECU might have "learned" the faulty VAF readings)

Best option may be to use MegaSquirt with a MAP sensor......

he is now using msns and I think hes got a wideband. Its scary to have awideband on the stock injectors lol because you get to see how lean your engine runs lol

seven should be ok tho hes megasquirted now w00t!
