Turning a t3 into a t3/t4?(56k beware)

Post by hgallegos915 »

hmm i know a t3 will choke at around 5 k rpms, i got one to get my car driveable at least to work and back.

its a real garret water cooled t3 .

Can i swap out the cold side wheel for a bigger one? and a the bigger housing? i have 1 turbo left over from my cheap ebay ones.

?

or should i just use this as the driver and then just get a real t3.t4?

actually hec, I think that the t3 may work not too bad on ur ze.

give it a try and tell me what you think. I am thinking of going back to t3 instead of the hybrid one that I have right now. Too much lag for me I think... maybe not for racing though, but we'll see.

on a 57 trim t3/t4 on a 1.8 BP i didn't reach full boost untill 3500 rpms

why do u guys complain about lag.. I don't get it maybe its just me

the new turbo im upgraded to probly won't reach full boost till 5000-5500 rpms that lag but i don't care

when ur on ur on..

its really small, like ar 43 or something.

i dont have lag with the t3/t4 that much, i can hit boost right away like at 2.5 k rpms full boost by 4.

the t3 i guess well see what happens.

u think small u get small hp

i have a smaller motor than u and hit full boost before u than u with ur 2.5

u need better tuning

most don't realize that tuning is the beining and everything
