SSS Anonymous

Post by zombiechow »

I have something I need to confess. I have...SSS. Yes that's right Sloppy Shifter Syndrome. I am ashamed to admit it but alas I should come right out and tell you.

I hate it!!!! I have about a foot of play (exageration) in any gear. It's horrible lol.

Also when I am shifting you can hear a distinct sound of metal hitting metal especially from 2 to 3 and 4 to 5. That can't be good. It feels like it's going to fall off or something. You guys think I should do a bushings change asap or should it be ok for a while?

Any input?

Also I think we should star SSS Anonymous...for all those out there afraid to admit they are suffering from this horendous problem.

I found it amusing - worth a chuckle. But anyways the SSS anonymous club would not last because MOST people fix the problem once and never relapse...

Thank you for your honesty Chris. That's the first step is admitting you have a problem. ;)
