turbo question.

Today I ordered my hot pipes. I have a BOV already, and an vortech FMU also.

I also have a IHI turbo from an izuzu(I will have to make an adapter to mate it to the hot pipes I think......

EDIT: This turbo is a VI-55 IHI turbo. are the housings going to give me grief?

Will this turbo work for me? anyone have any idea as to the specs? I think that it came off an impulse or something like that.

what else will I need to get this thing turboed?

ps, I am only running the K8 for now, until I blow it up, then it's KL time!

also, how much boost can I run on the K8 safely on the street with 92 gas?

that looks like a really small turbo.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!

ya, it is small, but it is the only one I have for now.

at least it will spool up quick ;)

I am getting a garrett t3 later from a friend, but for now I would like to use this one.

Does anyone know where I might get an adapter plate for this?

a garret t3 is still too small.

compared to what i wnant and am using rite now.

ya, I figured that out just now, so I am getting a t3/t4 hybrid instead tonite!
