MX-3.com Forums Migration to new Web Server

You may have noticed we have had some downtime tha past couple weekends here on the MX-3.com Forums.
Last weekend was a test to migrate all the forum files over to the new host, and this weekend was the final move.
Currently everything seems to be working as expected on the new server, but search results are not complete as of yet. I am currently working on getting the database populated with all the results.
The access URL you should be using to get to the forums is primarily http://forums.mx-3.com or if you that gives you problems you can also use: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB2/

If you notice any problems with the forums, please let me know by PM or e-mail.

You will also notice that e-mails from the MX-3.com Forums for either Private Messages or Topic Replies show addresses that do not have the http://www.mx-3.com domain name in them, but instead show http://s27494.gridserver.com. This is only temporary until the rest of the main MX-3.com site is migrated over, which should be in the very near future.

To follow up with my previous post, I will be transferring the MX-3.com Domain Name over to the new Web Server this evening.
This involves simply changing the Nameservers with the Registrar, Network Solutions.
Generally the transition should be seamless for most people, but it is possible that the site will appear offline for a short period of time. If your Internet Service Provider's DNS cache does not update right away, or is delayed, your computer may still point to the old Server IP address, after it has officially been swtiched.
Rebooting your computer, or flushing your DNS Cache may help expedite the process for your machine.

DNS changes are supposed to take affect across the interent within 24-48 hours in most people. I will make the change around 10 PM this evening.

After the change is made, you can continue to use the regular links for the site:
http://www.mx-3.com for the Main Site
and
http://forums.mx-3.com for the Forums

Cookies for the forums may be affected, in case you have the login problems, please log out, clear your temporary internet files, delete any cookies related to http://www.MX-3.com, s27494.gridserver.com, or forums.mx-3.com, then restart your computer, and try again.

Their are a few areas of the site that will not be immediately accessible, even after the transition. I still need to work onthem to get them functioning as required. These areas are:

Online Store
Online Shop Manual - Fixed
Universal Owners Registry
Sales Figures
Flyers
In The Movies Database

I have moved the Domain Name Server switch forward. The DNS change was initiated moments ago, so starting within the next few hours, you may notice some slight downtime.

Hopefully no one experienced any downtime while the Domain Name was migrated over to the new web server.

The Online Manuals section is now operational on the main site. Some pages of the manuals still have to be resized, and a little customization is to be done, but other than that, they are back online. More pages have also been added from different manuals.
