water in tailights

i just got some new tailights installed and everytime i take it thru the carwash water gets inside and never leaves anyone no how to get rid of the water?

Yup, bake them appart, remove lense clean them and then reaseal them.or u can drill a coulple holes in the bottom so the water can run out..

+1 , I ended up doing both of those things Trevo said to the set of altezza lights I have.

Be very careful doing this as it may create a ton of small fracture cracks in the lexan(happened to me)!! I would NOT recommend drilling them!!! Try and take them apart and reseal them instead....

For a while I had a small aquarium in my right taillight :shock: :D

Its just for the lazy ppl, u can drill; just be slow and simpe.. put a piece of tape done b4 u drill and drill into the tape, can prevent some cracking.

Use stock tail lights that are in good shape.. they dont leak.

there's a groove all around between the clear and the black part.. just drill in over there, at the bottoms. i went through 2 pairs of altezzas trying to get em to stay sealed before i gave up and put holes in. never had a problem since
