and i dont think its the right 1.under the intake manifold the cold says KLA1A
It says KL everywhere else. someone was talking about it not having a EGR, mine has a piece of metal over where i think it should be. can someone please tell me whrere this thing is exzactly and if there is any other way to check if it is a KL or KLZE

Well search on it. it appears you do have ze heads. Read the faq please.

lol, thanks. so i checked em. even the code one. so i have the right throttle body but i think its a KL it says KL1A1 on the block. u guys know a place to run the vin #?

DE says KL
ZE says KL31

well thats lame, the code on the thorttle body is correct for the klze. scammers?

Hey isnt that the correct code for the rear head? Look for the front head. What code do you have?

front? u mean how the engine would be put into the car? the front 1 would be the KL1A1, the intake manifold is covering up the other 1 all i can see is a 1A1

KL1a1 and the other would read kl31.


If its a klde i beliecve it will say kl-o1 on one head. i think..

right next to my back exhaust manifold, theres a piece of metal, thats a cofver to something. it says out on it, its that the cover for the egr delete?

yes, if you have that piece this its pretty much a klze as US spec didnt get those

but could someone have just put one of those on?

hector hector tis tis kl-ze will read KL31-1A1 on one head and KL31-101 on there other..

Yea, someone found a large box of htem in a warehouse in japan shipped them over and started putting them on kldes to pass them off....

Since these only came on jspec motors the answer is more than likely NO

but i mean if you want to tell everyone its not and be all paranoid about it then by all means do so. I swear people get more worked up when they buy a klze more than anything on this forum lol

well in all fairness, a lot of ppl have gotten ripped off w/ DE's passed off as ZE's, so i could understand where the worry comes from...
