for the people out there that have an engine swap what do you do with your old engine?do you sell it or keep itt or what have you, just curious..

Spoke with a JunkYard salesman (sp?) and he told me, if ther is a low millage on, he'll buy it back, like a discount. If you someone who want that engine, give for a good price. (higher than what yuo were offered, but less than the junkyard). <P>If you don't know what to do with it, well, it won't be of use in a backyard, so trade it to the junkyard.<P>My 2 cents.

buy an older 323 hatch and put yout stock motor in it for a winter beater, thats what i am doing i got a spare tranny with a grinding third i am gonna use

Does the mx-3 V6 motor fits in the older 323 with no problem? Because if it is, I might do the same exact thing, and maybe even sell the car as a "racer" to make some money... :)
