Just recently bought a 360 and an extra controler. But when i plug it in and then turn on the 360 all the controler dose is blink and i cant get it to work. Anyone know why is there a special way to fix it or is it broke?

You will have to either exchange it or repair it. Mine was sent out couple weeks ago and they're still repairing it....they suck. For a $400 unit this is shitty.

Are you talking about just the controller or the console? If it is the ring of death (3 red lights) I can do a repair but it will only last around 5 months. Otherwise you would need to contact Microsoft if you are still under warranty. If its the controller your talking about you have to press the button on the 360 console and the button on the controller till they sync up.

Lights on the console are not blinking but the lights on the controller are and even when the 360 is off they still blink. Its a wired controller if that makes a difference. When i hit the connect button the lights on the console blinks in a circle then go back to normal. The controller that came with it works fine its the extra one that i bought that has the problem.

I havent heard of that problem before, maybe try unplugging the controller and plugging it back in after the console is started up.

Did you try all the usb ports to see if they all do the same thing?

Must be a defective controller then...Wouldnt know what else to tell you besides try a friends wired controller on your system to see if you get the same results.

One last thing, I would suggest getting a wireless controller, as you can see wired controllers are junk anyways.
