Xedos -95 disty in -92 MX3?

I´m having the well known problem with my MX:3 where it "dies" after driving it a few minutes, then it starts up again like normal after a minute later.

Well, now got my hands on a disty from a Mazda Xedos -95 wich I was told was supposed to fit my MX3. When I put it in my MX3 I got no spark at all...
do I have to make some modifications to make it work in my MX3? Or is the "new" disty broken?

I´m from sweden so I have a "european" MX3 if thats makes any difference.

the wiring for the xedos and he mx3 is slightly different, they use the same connectors but a few wires are switched up. You'll need to find a wiring diagram for the xedos and compare it to the mx3 one as i cant remeber which were different as its been forever since i looked it up but the info is out there

Ok, is that rewiring something that I can do my self or is it "advanced"? And what kind of wiring are we talking about?

And where can I find a diagram for a xedos? Iv´e searched the web some and didn´t find what I think I am looking for.

Alot of questions...

its easy its litterally just switching the wires in the connectors, Um if you google xedos forums you should find a main site for one, just start there

Is this something that can help me? Like I said, I have a disty from a -95 xedos.

Though, this wiring is for the -96 xedos.
