I need to replace the transmission computer/t.c.u. (whatever you want to call it) in my 95 1.6L DOHC automatic. Is this part compatible with any other cars? I have checked the local salvage yards and none of them have any mx-3. So I was wondering if I could possibly pull the part of another car like a probe or such? Thank You in advance.

you probably should have posted this in transmissions to get a better response...

not sure about the answer though... I'm not sure another car would have the same computer for that unless it had the identical tranny.

I know some Kia's have the same tranny but I can't remember which ones...
