25mm offset is 20mm away from our stock ET.

I think you would get serious clearing issues.

I have 15x7 on my mx3 and barely clear my struts. Im thinking to make those rims work you would need a huge spacer.

7,5J with ET38 works (with low profile tires though) with about 5mm of clearence from the strut. So an ET value of 25 would make it stick out about 13mm more. 0,5J is about 13mm if not mistaken, so that means the rims are 6,5mm wider on each side, leaving you with 6,5mm of extra clearence at the struts. That's a little over 11mm of clearence for your tires.
The biggest issue would be the at the wheelarches, the tires would stick out a lot there...

This one is a member from the Dutch mx-3 club. This is 17x8J. As you can see for yourself, the the tirethread is just within the fender (making it legal over here), but the rims are way out. With 15" and matching tires, those would be even more so. No prublems with the struts though, but the fenders need to be rolled.

i posted test fitting pics of my 18x9 +25 with 225/40/18 a while ago and fits but with some poke in front but perfectly flush in the rears. those 15x8+25 will fit fine. few months ago i tried my friends sport max 16x8 +25 offset and it definately fits nice n flush.
those axis old skools are actually copies of the work equip 03

and the og one is a copy of the ssr reverse mesh.

id say go with the old skools only cuz im not a fan of mesh wheels. it will be nice to see other mx3's with better fitting flush wheel fitments the 15x8 in +25 will be great on the mx3. :2thumbsup:

however, axis wheels are known for their porky weights. have u looked at sportmax wheels? they have a few more options that fit our cars. sportmax wheels arent super light but they arent too bad.

lower offset means wheel face closer to the fender, higher offset means inner wheel flange is closer to the strut

offset is confuseing at first because its backwards. retarted that we dont use backspacing to calculate it.
