shifter bushing replacement

Post by Lookwuticando »

I hear my shift lever rattling around making noise all the time because it's gotten so loose, so I assume this is the problem, need new bushings. So is this done from inside the car or underneath? Is it hard to find new bushings? The dealer still carrying these? What should I be most concerned about replacing? Just the ones at the stick mainly right? My chilton's manual tells me exactly squat about this.

You will need 4 bushings.

Dealer has them for no too much.

You will need to get under the car.

Dont get the ones from the dealer get the bronzoil bushings from cork sport online. I just put them in and they are much better then the cheap plastic ones. A little more expensive but worth it in the long run.
