Hey guys , I just sold my mx-3 yesterday , the person who bought it loved the car, but a day later she says it starts and after a few seconds it dies. She drove it from my house to hers, about an hour everything was fine.

It's a 1993 mx-3 , has the KLZE engine swap ( Had it for a couple years )

The car has about 220k miles, but the KLZE has about 45k.

I sold it with no warranty, but I wanna be fair, it's been only a day.

What could the problem be? I was thinking something with the CPU , the car is confused? idk.

Thanks ahead of time.

i will try that, any other suggestions?

I think she also said if she hold down the gas it won't die, but i'm not sure.

It looks to me as EGR problem. Pull the codes to confirm.

I wonder if she left the oil cap loose.

egr has nothing to do with how the car runs, you can run a ze all day long on a k8 ecu with no egr and it wont have any issues, egr is for emissions.

Maybe it isn't a ZE. Not the first person getting fooled....
