I really need to make sure i understand this ok.

Which one of these CAI's, are best suitable for a K8 ?
Even if i have to cut off something with a dremel , that's ok. I just need to know that

Look for a itake from a 90-92 acura integra, those work fine.

the first one will work easier better... U just have to shorten the piece that attaches to maf... 1 cut... and get extra red piece as well...

I dont see why people dish out extra for the integra intake..

the mx6 intake fits us perfect when u cut the elboy and turn it 180 degrees :/

What if you use MegaSquirt and don't have a MAF? What then?

Then you run the pipe straight with no MAF, just a coupler like hondas are setup like...

I used the first one and purchased some pipe connectors, and made some easy cuts and this is what I came up with.

Yea, i used first one aswell with no cutting at all, put the filter below the ac lines infront of the foglight.

Make sure there is a nipple on the curved pipe, this will be the one you use.

don't do it this way, as it defeats the whole purpose of having a CAI. the C stands for COLD!!

too close to your headers. basically turning ur cai into a hot air intake... stick ur hand down there after uve driven for a while, wont be cold... if it s behind the head light it sucks in cold air thats not even near the engine... codl air is more dense and mixes? betterwith the fuel or some thing like that... its like those little chips on ebay that tell ur ecu thats its gfettin more cold air and feeds ur engine more fuel to compensate....

I am thinking of buying a Green TWISTER

I can buy it from a local shop near my house.
It has a built in HeatShield, and the shop also has this cool Green ram air kit for it .
And it's rice chrome

You should also replace your maf. It should be horizontal, not vertical.

This way your maf could malfunction.
