Well he did ask for comments ;) And I have hated volkswagons since I was in high school where 2 of my best friends were killed in a bug. Brakes failed on the POS. One of the things that prompted me to learn about cars too. Long dull boo hoo story I aint gonna get into. I just figure anyone buying one must have a deathwish ;) Best of luck with the new car man.. hope you wont need it though ;)

No hurt feelings , I mean I was pretty much prepared to get some hating on it due to the contraversial color ..
I am also sorry to hear about your friend .

Yeah it has a pretty good amount of upgrades on it ,
The guy I bought it was pretty clueless to what it had on it , he bought it like that from a dealer and was hurting for money , so I got it at a decent price,

From what I've been able to tell so far (only had the car for a day)
It has
k04 turbocharger
FMIC kit
Injen intake
Forge DV
Cams
Aftermarket Oil pump
Big brake kit
Bilstein coilover kit
17" rims
3" turboback (very nice sound)
double pillar pod with af and boost autometer gauges
Custom sub enclosure (rediculously loud for a 10" sub)
tinted windows

Thats all I noticed so far , I keep looking the car over and finding more little stuff .. It's kind of exciting :D

First thing, nice car I like VWs and Euros alot, all my friends have them.

Second thing to Tunes67, how did you get Mr. Meticulous below your name? I haven't seen anyone else with that before.

Not a big fan of VWs either, but love thier recent commercials. They are heavy and overpriced, but good enough cars. There is one that runs around my town that is sickly souped. Looks very lightly modified, but very quietly done (alot goes a long way). Props on the buy.
On a note I also lost my best friend to a VW accident in high school. It was a VW frame and engine that was a hand built project. They don't know what happened exactly, but my friend and his brother ran under a semi and it killed them both.

The color--gross
The rims--yuck
European style license plate on a car in America--retarded

If you like it, enjoy it.
