awd trans

the bpt swap that im looking at getting comes with an awd tranny, is it possible to plug up the awd so it will function as a fwd?

Ive heard this talked about but i really dont see it being worth it with the extra weight and all. i say just go with the pro lx tranny and axles and be done with it. If you want to save some money like i did you can take the awd flywheel and clutch that comes with it and use it with the pro lx tranny. Just make sure the disc has some life left in it. Grabs hard for me and others have done this and will save you having to buy a pro lx clutch and flywheel. Just make sure if your using the awd clutch it has to be paired with awd flywheel and same with the protege lx.
