Extremely slow server response time

Post by Tunes67 »

Dunno if anyone else has been having this issue the past few days.. but I know its not just me since its been a problem on 4 different computers that I use to access the site. There seems to be some kind of cookie issue and then there is the lag. Now.. I understand the "So many people are using the search function that it slows the server way down" reasoning a few times.. but I have noted that this has occurred even when there are 3 people online! So.. is it the server? Lame internet routing somewhere between washington state and the server location? Server needs to be rebooted? Serious.. its really becoming annoying. Any worse and I will buy a new server just to watch the old one be crushed  j/k

Its from people searching, The moer they search, the more the database will lag, quit telling people to search so much :)

Like I mentioned above Barry.. this has been occurring when only 3 people are online.. including myself.. if 2 people searching can slow the server down that much.. there is something wrong ;)
