Air conditioning pump is not engaging when I hit the ac button. I think it's completely out of freon, so this may be why it's not engaging (worked a month ago). Thought I'd check the fuse, but can't seem to find it. It's not listed on the box on the drivers kick panel, and not listed on the box on left front fender. Anyone know where the fuse would be?
Anyone know - if I fill with r134, will the pump start engaging? The last time it was filled, it blew cold air for about a month, so i'm thinking of putting in some ac stop leak and filling it up and crossing my fingers.
Any ideas appreciated.

if you were out of freon it would still blow, just hot air, and if your not retro fitted its r12 i believe. if you had a passenger in your car they might have kicked the plug out, look up and underneath your glove box at the unit under there, check and see if anything came unplugged, that was my problem and it seems to be the major problem.
