When I have the lights turned on and hit the breaks. One of my lights just goes to nothing. All the other ones work fine. At first I thought it was the bulb, so i went out got new ones. And it wasn't that. I'm not an electrical wizz, so what could it be?

Sounds like you may have a bad ground. I would use a elec tester to read voltage with the lights on, then with the blinker on, and again with the brake pedal depressed. Then read the ohms of the grounds for all the above too. This will give us some more info to go off of.
