Well I realized I never did a worklog for my new mx soooo here we go

let me know what you all think

working on the block

mmm tasty wiseco 10.2:1 pistons

Putting things together

This is how an oil pan should look

Cylinder head with 1mm oversized SS valves
P&P and port match

almost done!

This is where it's going!

Keeping the engine cool! just a mockup it will fit much better when we are done
Trunk minus the wheel well... I plan on adding a depression for the fuel cell back here and a spot for the battery also.
You should also be able to notice the spots I added a little to support the body where the bolts go through to hold on the AWD rear subframe

Good clean work, and I don't give that prop often. Good luck on the project, it looks like it will be well done. As for the radiator though, that looks problematic. It seems to be too tall. I wouldn't want mine to hang down under the car and be the first thing that gets hit when I go over something too high.

The only part that really goes bellow the support are the mounting pins that stick down the rest is actually flush with the bottom of the support... although I do plan on eventually making a piece that goes under the radiator for better protection

Dam thats clean. Some times i wish i went with a BP and not a Ze. You live in IL right i think u sent me a message on cardomain back in 2004 LOL i havent been on that site in ages. I think u have a white RS at least the name is the same.

actually i moved in october to detroit. the car is still in the chicagoland area cause it still needs a decent amount of work, i was in the hospital a bunch and some other stuff got in the way of me getting the car done.

Hey im crazy 2 well your more crazy LOL. Kinda suck u dont live around i saw a pic on ur cardomain page of u autoX at TireRack plant. I never been looks like lot of fun. Im gona try to find one closer to chicago and go spectate see how it looks.

the AWD trans is way bigger so you need to make space. or you could try and find an AWD front subframe
